- Teachers appointed under Panchayat Raj/Municipal Body Institutions prior to 2012 must pass an efficiency test.
- However, the provision of efficiency test/eligibility test is not applicable to teachers working in schools affiliated with various boards such as CBSE/ICSE/BSEB.
